What is Navigating Wonders?

Navigating Wonders is a series of interactive sessions designed to provide parents and caregivers with valuable information and resources on a variety of topics related to child development, parenting, and education. Each session is led by experienced professionals in their respective fields, offering insights, tips, and practical advice in a relaxed and informal setting.

What to Expect:

1. Playful Learning Environment: Our play cafe provides a vibrant and stimulating space for children to explore and engage in imaginative play while parents participate in the session. With a range of toys, games, and activities available, children can enjoy themselves while caregivers focus on the discussion.

2. Informative Sessions: From topics such as early childhood development and positive parenting techniques, each session covers relevant and timely information tailored to the needs of parents and caregivers. Our experts provide valuable insights and answer questions to support you on your parenting journey.

3. Networking Opportunities: Navigating Wonders is not just about learning; it's also about building a community. Connect with other parents and caregivers who share similar experiences and concerns. Share tips, stories, and support each other in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

4. Child-Friendly Setting: We understand the challenges of attending events with young children, which is why we've created a child-friendly environment where kids can play freely and safely. Feel free to bring your little ones along – they're welcome to join in the fun while you participate in the session.

In May, we will have Birth to 3 present to answer questions you may have regarding your child's development concerns. Targeted for families with developmental questions or concerns.

The Birth to 3 Program is committed to serving children under the age of 3 with developmental delays and disabilities and their families. We value the family’s primary relationship with their child and work in partnership with the family. We work to enhance the child’s development and support the family’s knowledge, skills and abilities as they interact with and raise their child. We’re an early intervention home visiting program that provides therapy to children under the age of 3 who have developmental delays or certain diagnosed conditions that have a high probability of resulting in a developmental delay. All children in our program have access to a full team of specialists including a Special Education Teacher/Service Coordinator, a Speech Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, and a Physical Therapist. All services are individualized to meet the unique needs of each individual child and family. Our program uses evidenced based practices to best support families. The 3 main components are: Natural Leaning Environment Practices, Coaching as an Interaction Style, and Primary Coach Approach to Teaming. Essentially, we provide support to a family in their home environment and work alongside them, with their child, to build their confidence and competence in supporting their child’s learning and development.

We've been incredibly fortunate to have the support of our wonderful community as a small business. Now, it's our turn to give back! Wonder Give is a special day dedicated to showing our appreciation and support for the community that has uplifted us. We're excited to announce that all proceeds from the day will benefit the Werdin Family. We have a lineup of special activities planned throughout the day, including basket raffles and various specials that you won't want to miss. It's a perfect opportunity to enjoy some quality time with your loved ones while supporting a great cause. Together, we can spread kindness and positivity throughout our community!

Young Chefs offers a delectable experience for budding chefs! This month, young chefs are invited to roll up their sleeves and create their own mouthwatering masterpieces as we build personalized pizzas for lunch. During the Wine Walk, Fond du Lac’s downtown businesses become “tasting rooms” where attendees may sample different wines. Stroll from business to business exploring what downtown has to offer and shop for the holidays while you sip from your souvenir glass.

Select your 12 wine samples (2 ounces) from the numerous options available at different businesses throughout Downtown Fond du Lac. You’re sure to find something you enjoy. Choose your ticket based on your tasting preferences - Sweet Wine, Dry Wine, or Mocktail Tickets available!

• We ID EVERYONE. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older with a valid photo ID. We cannot distribute wristbands, lanyards, or glasses to anyone without an ID. Be flattered. You all look 21 years old to us!

• Ticket holders must check-in individually to receive wristbands, lanyards and glasses. Check-in on behalf of other ticket holders is not permitted.

• Event check in will open at 131 S. Main Street at 2:00pm the day of the event, and will remain open until 6:00pm. Wine samples will be available no earlier than 4:00pm and no later than 8:00pm.

• Upon check-in, ticket holders will receive a souvenir wine glass, wristband, lanyard with punchcard, and a map of serving locations.

• During the Wine Walk, upon receiving a wine sample, ticketholders should present their punchcard to the server to have them punched. All ticket holders may receive a maximum of 12, 2 oz. samples regardless of how many stops are on the map.

• Wine glasses must be empty before leaving each business.

• Check-in details will be sent prior to the event date, to the email provided at time of purchase.
